Best Ramen Noodles


Here I'm with my new blog. This blog is special to me, as noodles make me happy and reminiscence me of the good old times with my sisters and friends. I have been eating noodles since my childhood and eating them with your close friends and family gives it more meaning and creates golden memories. I've included noodle recipes of my sisters, try them out and rate which noodle recipe was your favorite. While making noodles, the brand you are using also matters, each of them has its unique flavor to it, I'll list down my favorite noodles you can share yours in the comment section.

Recipe:

Dough Preparation:

  • Plain flour
  • salt
  • egg
  • oil
  • milk
  • water
Sauce preparation:

  • Add oil to the wok
  • Add garlic
  • Add cumin seed
  • Add onion
  • Add shredded chicken
  • Add capsicum (of your choice)
  • Add salt
  • Add black and white pepper
  • Add chili sauce
  • Add soy sauce
  • Add vinegar
  • Add chicken stock
Mix the ingredients till oil separates.

Pasta preparation:

  • Boil the water
  • Add potato in the boiling water
  • Roll the dough flat using the roller pin
  • Fold and make cuts evenly
  • Add salt to the boiling water
  • Add the sauce you prepared
  • Add the sliced dough to the boiling water
  • Serve and enjoy

My Favorite Instant Noodles:

Indomie: 
Indomie is an instant noodles produced by the Indonesian company Indofood. They have variety of products and each of them is delicious. I prefer all the flavors of this brand but the one which I've tried are, beef, chicken, special chicken, vegetable, stir fried, chicken curry, spicy stir fried, onion chicken, and shrimp. I love this brands noodle, but in Pakistan you can only find three flavors (chicken, vegetable and beef) in majority of areas. You can only purchase more flavors from other cities or country online. One of my sisters recipe of Indomie noodles: 

 


Ramen Noodles:  
Ramen noodles has a very different flavor then the other noodles, it is really addictive, if you have tried once you will crave for more. I'm a spice lover so I love Korean and Japanese noodles, there are range of flavors and my favorite are, Samyang original ramen, hot chicken flavor ramen, Carbo flavor ramen noodles, and Nissin ramen hot mushroom noodle.

Noodie Noodles: 
Noodie noodle has just entered Pakistan market. It's country of origin is Jordan, and 100% Halal certified. In Pakistan market it has 9 existing flavors. And the ones which I like are, chicken and onion, shrimp, special chicken, fried, vegetables and chicken curry. Give a try, to these delicious noodle recipe of my sisters. You won't regret.

Facts you should know about eating Noodles:

  • Instant noodles are highly addictive, it contains MSG. It is chemically synthetized and can trigger the pleasure centers of the brain, wanting you to have more.
  • Korean noodles are no different to most processed food items or instant noodles. Its just that it contains kansui, kansui is mineral water with sodium carbonate, potassium carbonate, and sometimes phosphoric acid. Kansui's interaction with wheat flour while cooking, is what gives ramen noodles its color, texture and taste.
  • Instant noodles are low in calorie, but also low in fiber and protein. Are notorious for being high in fats, carbohydrates and sodium.
  • High sodium can cause heart stokes and stomach cancer. Also increase the risk of high blood pressures which in-turn can impact kidney and heart.
  • Regular intake of instant noodles can decrease intake of calcium, protein, vitamin A and C, phosphorus, niacin and iron.
  • However, including instant noodles to your diet, likely won't effect your health if you know how much to consume and how to consume it.
  • Study says that you should consume instant noodles a maximum of once a week and should be topped with one of your favorite vegetables or meat. this will contribute to a hearty flavor and add nutrients to the meal. They give you a nice serving of vitamins, fibers, protein and minerals in every bite. It will be a peak comfort food.
